Director's Address

Director’s Address to Well-Wishers and Partners
Dear Esteemed Well-Wishers and Partners,
Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
As we navigate these tumultuous times, the Christian community faces unprecedented challenges across various nations. Religious persecution, legal constraints, and societal marginalization have become prevalent, threatening our very existence in regions where our faith once flourished. In response, WCMC is actively engaging with governmental bodies to advocate for the constitutional rights and privileges of our minority communities. Despite our efforts, many of our brethren continue to experience rejection and oppression.
The need for dedicated leaders who carry a genuine burden for our community has never been more critical. We seek individuals willing to stand at the forefront, reaching out to fellow leaders and mobilizing resources. Our current challenges are compounded by a shortage of such leaders and the necessary funds to support our mission. In remote villages, churches grapple with severe caste-based discrimination and oppression from dominant religious groups. Illiteracy, poverty, and persecution remain formidable obstacles.
To address these pressing issues, we propose the initiation of income-generating projects tailored to the needs and capacities of believers’ societies in countries like India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka. These projects include:
- Agricultural Ventures: Establishing farms to promote sustainable livelihoods.
- Livestock Farming: Developing cattle, sheep, and poultry farms to provide both nutrition and income.
- Small-Scale Enterprises: Setting up businesses and manufacturing units to foster economic independence.
Furthermore, it is imperative to establish educational institutions, vocational training centers, and healthcare clinics in these remote areas, collaborating with governmental agencies to ensure accessibility and quality. With thousands of village churches still lacking basic necessities, these initiatives are not just beneficial but essential.
I earnestly urge each of you to contribute in your capacity to realize WCMC’s vision. As Scripture reminds us, we are “the salt of the earth” and “the light of the world” (Matthew 5:13-14). Our faith compels us to act, to uplift our struggling brethren, and to be the hands and feet of Christ in these trying times. Let us unite in this end-time ministry and fellowship, ensuring that our collective efforts bring hope and transformation to the communities we serve.
